A firm built on integrity, discipline and enduring client trust.

Measured counsel. Decisive representation.
Marai Mwaura & Co Advocates was founded on a simple belief: that legal practice is a craft. It rewards patience in preparation, precision in drafting, clarity in counsel, and courage in advocacy. Our clients — individuals, families, institutions and enterprises — come to us for exactly this discipline.
We have built the firm slowly and deliberately, taking on matters that fit our areas of depth and turning down those that do not. Every engagement is led by a partner. Every client is briefed personally. Every position is prepared as though it will be examined by an appellate bench.
We advise across commercial, taxation, land, litigation, conveyancing and corporate advisory practice — with the range of a general practice and the rigour of a specialist chambers.
Experience
Years of practice across the High Court, magistrates' courts, KRA tribunals and boardrooms across Kenya.
Integrity
We answer to the law and to our clients — never to convenience. Our word governs the engagement.
Commitment
Partner-led, responsive, and accountable. When you retain us, you retain the firm's full attention.
How we returned a family's ancestral title — and set a quiet precedent.
A Kiambu family walked into our chambers holding a decades-old bundle of green cards, sale agreements and a fraudulent transfer that had quietly stripped them of eighteen acres of ancestral land. Two prior advocates had advised settlement. We disagreed.
Over eleven months we reconstructed the chain of title from Lands Registry archives, cross-examined the third-party purchaser on inconsistencies in his own documentation, and pressed a fraud pleading through the Environment and Land Court. The court cancelled the fraudulent title, restored the family register, and awarded costs. No settlement was signed.
That matter — and the many quieter ones like it — is why Marai Mwaura & Co Advocates exists: to prepare, to fight where the facts warrant, and to hand our clients back what is rightfully theirs.
